CW Innovation and DigitalHealth.London announce the third cohort of the Horizon Fellowship

Today, DigitalHealth.London and CW Innovation (the flagship innovation programme run jointly by CW+ and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust) welcome the 18 new Fellows of the third cohort of the Horizon Fellowship.

Building on the success of the DigitalHealth.London Digital Pioneer Fellowship, which has already supported numerous Chelsea and Westminster Hospital staff in driving digital transformation, the Horizon Fellowship empowers Trust employees to lead digitally innovative projects focused on optimising patient care and enhancing overall patient experience.

This 12-month programme offers Fellows a wealth of support, including peer-to-peer collaboration through Action Learning Sets and access to workshops, resources, and events covering key topics such as navigating difficult conversations and project evaluation. Fellows are also paired with accomplished mentors from both the business and healthcare sectors, allowing them to gain invaluable insights and leverage their extensive experience.

We’re excited to welcome our new Horizon Fellows and support their innovative ideas, many of which will go on to benefit patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Led by CW Innovation, the Horizon Fellowship programme is proving to be hugely successful, offering staff the chance to turn their ideas into reality with the support they need. We’re once again delighted to be working in partnership with DigitalHealth.London, which enables us to draw on expertise from the wider health innovation sector to offer insight and know-how to our Fellows.

Since 2021, the Horizon Fellowship has successfully supported 32 members of staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The Horizon Fellows’ projects are estimated to have impacted over 17,000 patients.
