Evidence Generator Bootcamp
The DigitalHealth.London Evidence Generator Bootcamp drives evidence generation as a foundation of digital transformation. It helps digital health companies plan strong evidence, research and evaluation plans and identify the right partnerships, supporting market entry and readiness for health and social care, in particular the NHS.
Who is the Evidence Generator Bootcamp for?
As outlined in NHS England and NICE policy, digital health companies need more than a great product to succeed; they need quality evidence that demonstrates technology is safe, effective and value for money. The DigitalHealth.London Evidence Generator Bootcamp is an online programme designed for digital health companies that are about to or have launched their product to the health and social care market (Technology Readiness Levels 3-5), in particular the NHS, and are committed to driving their evidence generation forward.


The DigitalHealth.London Evidence Generator Bootcamp programme is funded by the Office for Life Sciences with a focus on signposting and supporting innovators to deliver economic growth. It is delivered by the Health Innovation Network South London.
What’s involved?
The Evidence Generator Bootcamp will provide practical support to help digital health companies build credible evidence generation plans. The 10 week online programme includes:
- Five expert-led, highly interactive online workshops delivered by subject matter experts and industry specialists.
- Facilitated virtual peer-to-peer sessions for shared learning, collaboration and problem-solving.
- Curated access to digital tools, resources and published guidance to support evidence generation tasks.
- Flexible self-directed learning to reinforce and apply online workshop insights.
- Dedicated online guidance from an NHS Digital Guide to help navigate the programme and wider health and care system.

Who is the programme for?
The Evidence Generator Bootcamp is open to digital health startups that are committed to progressing their evidence generation. Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Early-stage company at Technology Readiness Levels 3-5;
- Have a digital health product about to launch or already launched to the health and social care market;
- Registered company, located in the UK or internationally; and
- Demonstrated commitment to progressing evidence generation and evaluating your technology in real-world settings to strength credibility for adoption by health and social care, in particular the NHS.
