The Launchpad is a programme for early-stage digital health companies that have a product or service in development or ready to launch with high potential to meet NHS and social care challenges.

Who is the Launchpad programme for?

The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is for companies based in London, specifically those in the early stages of developing a product or service that is nearing launch in the health and social care sector. We are especially eager to welcome founders from diverse backgrounds. In line with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund guidelines, the definition of diverse backgrounds includes individuals who identify as being from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic communities, the global majority, female, neurodiverse and/or disabled.

The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is part-funded by the UK Government via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), as well as through DigitalHealth.London’s partners CW+ and the Office for Life Sciences.

What’s involved?

The Launchpad provides approximately 12 hours of support to participants over a 12-week period. Support includes:

  • Workshops and peer-to-peer learning opportunities
  • Bespoke 1:1 advice from DigitalHealth.London digital health and NHS advisors
  • Advice from key DigitalHealth.London founding and strategic partners to bring rich and diverse expertise across healthcare innovation

James Jurkiewicz Co-founder, Islacare, DigitalHealth.London Launchpad 2019/20
We were lucky enough to join the December 2019 induction of the launchpad, and have benefitted from a number of in depth discussions with leads from across the NHS, from IG to Digital, which was all super helpful in guiding us towards our launch. Since then, we’ve been in keeping in touch with others in our cohort to ask & answer questions as we all move forwards together.
