Gynaecology outpatient Nurse Manager

Biography: I manage the Early Pregnancy Unit and Gynaecology outpatient department. My role consists of leading the team to deliver high quality, effective, individualised nursing care to all patients undergoing gynaecology outpatient assessments, investigations and procedures, ensuring a safe environment and providing a high level of information and support to patients, provide professional and operational leadership on the department, leading by example, managing nursing standards and performance. As well developing and maintaining the highest nursing care and take remedial action when standards of care are not met. also responsible for the department nursing and supplies budget.

Horizon Fellowship project summary: The aim of this project is to create a digital platform as part of the national enhanced recovery programme for patients to access in gynaecology outpatients. To consist of multi-media tools (videos ,presentation, leaflets).
