Cohort Seven of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad Announced

Today, DigitalHealth.London welcomes the seventh cohort of its Launchpad programme. The 12 companies chosen are pioneering innovators in the initial stages of developing products or services with significant potential to transform the NHS and social care.

Over the years, the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme has supported a total of 62 companies to refine and launch new digital health products and services with high potential to meet the current NHS and social care challenges.

The Launchpad’s immersive workshops cover essential areas such as NHS system intricacies, regulatory compliance, and evidence generation. Companies also benefit from personalised 1:1 guidance and strategic advice with subject matter experts and partners in the DigitalHealth.London network, who have firsthand NHS clinical and/or operational experience.

The 12 companies chosen for Cohort 7 of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad are:

Birdie Box

  • Birdie Box is a memory companion app designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with memory loss by supporting cognitive engagement, preserving memories, and helping users maintain independence through easy access to essential information like medication schedules and appointments while reducing caregiver burden.

BlackFrame.ai

  • BlackFrame.ai’s mission is to standardise, streamline and automate the assessment of clinical skills for the healthcare workforce.

Braingaze

  • Braingaze provides streamlined, more accurate and objective cognitive disorder diagnosis combined with non-pharma gamified treatment that directly impacts neurobiological circuits of cognition.

btrU Health

  • btrU is a deep-tech clinical decision support tool that empowers healthcare professionals to search faster and make better-informed decisions.

Curenetics

  • Curenetics is revolutionising cancer treatment with AI-powered technology that predicts a patient’s response to immunotherapy.

FirmTech

  • FirmTech is a pioneering health technology company that develops innovative wearable solutions, like the TechRing, to empower men (and eventually, women) in monitoring and managing their sexual and vascular health.

Mana Medical

  • Mana Medical is a wearable-powered disease management for rheumatic sufferers.

The Motherhood Group

  • The Motherhood Group is revolutionising Black maternal health digitally by providing culturally competent, comprehensive support to reduce health disparities and empower Black mothers throughout their maternal journey.

OcciAI

  • OcciAI is an AI-driven patient information portal designed to increase the efficiency of outpatient appointments, enhance patient understanding and reduce healthcare inequality.

Oto Health

  • Oto provides effective, research-backed Tinnitus Therapy, anywhere, anytime. It is a mobile app that delivers cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and addresses the challenge of accessing affordable tinnitus care, designed to mimic face-to-face therapy.

QDR Health

  •  QDR Health’s digital platform offers accurate risk assessments for heart failure patients, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving the efficiency of care pathways.

Upskill.Health

  • Upskill.Health scales on-the-job training in the NHS through their mobile and virtual reality (VR)-based, microlearning platform. It will provide midwives with bitesize training that’s available, on-demand and ‘in the flow of work’.

The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is funded by the UK Government via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). It is delivered by the Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London in partnership with the Office of Life Sciences, CW+, Medicity, NHS England and the Mayor of London.
