Applications open for Cohort Seven of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad

Today, DigitalHealth.London has opened applications to their Launchpad programme for the next generation of digital health companies developing innovations to transform health and care. The programme supports London-based, early-stage companies to launch exciting new products or services to support NHS staff and patients.

Designed for early-stage companies nearing launch, the Launchpad helps innovators refine and launch new digital health products and services with high potential to meet current NHS and social care challenges. Since the Launchpad’s beginnings in 2019, DigitalHealth.London has supported a total of 64 companies who have gone on to achieve remarkable success since their time on the programme.

The Launchpad will support companies by providing access to knowledge sharing events that will help them understand demand in order to bring the product or process to market. The programme provides up to 11 weeks of support consisting of workshops, bespoke one to one guidance from DigitalHealth.London consultants and advice from key founding and strategic partners to bring rich and diverse expertise across healthcare innovation.

I am pleased to announce we are now open for applications on our seventh cohort of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme. This early-stage programme, supporting innovations to launch to health and social care, offers knowledge and guidance to innovators. We have supported over 60 companies to successfully launch over the past four years. The Launchpad is often seen as a springboard to more in depth company support through other DigitalHealth.London Programmes.

As the digital pioneers and innovators of today will likely shape the future of the health sector, the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is also keen to engage with founders from diverse backgrounds in the industry. In line with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund guidelines, the definition of diverse backgrounds includes individuals who identify as being from Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic communities, the global majority, female, neurodiverse and/or disabled.

We were thrilled to have been selected as part of the Digital Health London Launchpad programme as knew how difficult it was to gain access to the programme due to the number of applications. This is for good reason too! We found the whole programme to be well-organised with a super helpful team who were 100% focused to help us succeed. The programme delivery was excellent with a range of speakers and pertinent topics, and we learnt so much from the range of experts they brought in to speak. We also really enjoyed meeting all the other fantastic teams on the programme. Everyone on the programme was super supportive and for anyone who is thinking about applying, I would highly recommend to try their best to gain access to this brilliant Launchpad programme for start-ups.

The Launchpad programme has been instrumental in our journey to launch VoxiPlay for paediatric speech therapy. The knowledge we acquired, along with the comprehensive workshops and networking opportunities, have significantly enriched our understanding and capabilities within the healthcare sector.
