SME of the Week: April Roundup

Every week, we put a spotlight on one of the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator or Launchpad companies. Here’s a roundup of this month’s featured SME’s:

xim Limited, creators of…
Lifelight

About: Lifelight is a game changing technology that allows any smartphone or tablet device to measure blood pressure, pulse and breathing rate simply by a patient looking into the device’s built-in camera for 40 seconds. Completely contactless, with no additional hardware needed, it saves NHS staff time while improving patient experience.

Recent success: Lifelight was recently classified as a Class 1 medical device (Class II pending) and are engaged with NICE and the NHS on how our 100% contactless technology can help fight COVID-19.

Lifelight measures the key vital signs which are critical to COVID-19 detection and avoids the need for healthcare staff to make contact with infected patients and cross-contamination of devices from infected patients to healthy patients. In short, Lifelight allows healthcare providers to test more people, quickly and safely.

Lifelight is currently being trialled at St Clements Practice, Winchester to support assessment of patients with suspected COVID-19.

Ask: Introductions to NHS Trusts for Lifelight First, intended for spot measurement of vital signs in clinical settings.

Contact: laurence.pearce@xim.ai & suzanne@xim.ai (Laurence Pearce, CEO & Suzanne Congdon, Marketing). t.carlisle@nhs.net (Tom Carlisle is the DigitalHealth.London navigator).
