About: LifeBox standardises and optimises patient supplied information prior to surgery, by creating an efficient yet thorough digital pre-assessment tool to assist hospital staff and their patients before a hospital procedure.
Recent success: Following the introduction of the LifeBox digital assessment process we have seen:
- 60% reduction in face to face appointments
- £80,000 cost saving in one year
- 22000 patients registered
- 6 hospitals using LifeBox for their pre-assessment
- cost of a traditional POA service reduced from £31 to £12.12 for ePOA

About: Patchwork’s tech-enabled bank service is transforming flexible working in healthcare.
Recent success: Patchwork kicked off the year with three exciting new trust partnerships: Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

About: Phlo are a Digital Distance Pharmacy that delivers NHS and private prescriptions directly to the patient, either by direct delivery door to door or via Royal Mail.
Recent success: Providing patients across London with acute and repeat prescriptions with an average delivery time of two hours. Phlo’s app is used by a wide range of patients aged 18 to 78 years old. The average registration process time is less than 3 minutes.
With the spread of COVID-19, Phlo’s service has experienced a significant increase in user numbers. We’ve seen demand from those most vulnerable in society as well as those affected by self-isolation and social distancing.
