Christina Sothinathan qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2004 and since 2012, she worked as a Clinical Lead and Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (MSK) at King’s College Hospital. Christina completed her MSc and became a member of the MACP in 2015. She has taught at under- and postgraduate level and facilitates leadership training at Health Education England (HEE) and has also presented poster abstracts at National and European conferences.

In 2021, Christina was seconded to work as a Clinical Transformation Fellow at NHS England and Improvement (London) and HEE where she worked on MSK and long covid pathways as well as blood pressure monitoring at home. She has completed the Digital Pioneer Fellowship Programme at DigitalHealth.London and subsequently rolled out telemedicine in her previous clinical role. Christina’s interests are digital solutions to improve patient pathways and reduce clinician burden. She is also interested in integrated care and reducing digital exclusion to ensure high quality care is accessible to all.
