Digital Pioneer Fellowship project: Digitise paediatric allergy and asthma pathways

This project focusses on digitising the paediatric allergy and asthma pathways by providing parents and clinicians with a user-friendly interface where they will have the capability to access personal management plans, health promotional material and interactive videos and tutorials.

I am a paediatric doctor with interests in health innovation, entrepreneurship and service improvement. Through multiple vocational and hospital-wide positions, I have led initiatives to improve patient safety, cost efficiency and care delivery. As the Clinical Innovation and Improvement Fellow at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, my role is to design clinical pathways and oversee quality improvement projects within the Women’s and Children’s Division.

As a Public Health Fellow, I work with the Local Authority to implement a range of preventative and innovative health initiatives targeted at improving children’s oral health in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council. Additionally as a Senior Teaching Fellow at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, I am actively involved in clinical research, supervision and teaching of post-graduate students.
I hope to combine my passion for healthcare with tertiary experience in education, research and management to shape policy and deliver digital health solutions that directly meet the needs of local communities.

“Digital health solutions enable us improve the way we deliver care, and fundamentally, changes the way we practice medicine”
