Integrating Care Department at South West London Integrated Care Board


Biography: Originally from Australia, Viccie trained as a Physiotherapist and worked in Australia and the UK specialising in Older People’s Rehabilitation, Ergonomics and Manual Handling before moving into managerial roles in Provider and Commissioner NHS organisations. She supported the implementation of the new Hospital Information Support System at Chelsea and Westminster as a clinical trainer and adviser. She has also worked at the NHS England London region on a project focusing on Community Transformation before undertaking the role of Program Director for the Sutton Homes of Care Vanguard programme. Her current role is as an Associate Director of Transformation focusing on the Ageing Well themes: Enhanced Health in Care Homes, Community Transformation and Pro-active Care; along with End of Life Care across South West London.

South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: To introduce the Universal Care Plan (UCP) to 120 Care Homes in South West London. The project will work through the technical, information governance and clinical transformation processes required to implement this digital change and to support culture change.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Patients: approximately 2,500. Staff: approximately 3,500.

Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Viccie aims to have implemented access to 120 Care Homes and for 30 Care Homes to have read and write access to the UCP.
