Rebecca Blackburn, Commissioner, East Merton Transformation Commissioning and Partnership Manager, NHS South West London Alliance (Kingston, Richmond, Merton and Wandsworth CCGs)

Rebecca is the commissioning lead for delivering the primary care transformation strategy for Merton Clinical Commissioning Group. An English Language graduate from Lancaster University, Rebecca moved to London five years ago. With a passion for health care, and the belief that transformation is the crucial lever to improve outcomes for people like you and I, she has a proven track record for delivering key strategic transformation projects across the primary care landscape. Her current focus is improving health and social care integration through service re-design and driving an effective ‘primary care at scale’ strategy locally through new models of care. Rebecca recognises the challenges in the system and is ambitious about making the wider health system more about ‘thriving’ and not ’surviving’.

“To me digital transformation comprises of technology, efficiency, innovation and change: these are the compelling enablers to target the challenges within our system and improve the experience of all that come in to contact with it.”
