Perci Health Ltd

NHS Problem:

Cancer is listed as a clinical priority within the NHS Long Term Plan, which specifically identifies the need for “every person diagnosed with cancer to have access to personalised care, including needs assessment, a care plan and health and wellbeing information and support”.

There are currently over three million people living with cancer in the UK, and this figure is set to grow to over 4m by 2030. Cancer survivors have a higher risk of diabetes, heart disease, psychological illness, pain, fatigue and most importantly higher risk of a recurrent cancer. The annual medical expenditure for a cancer survivor has been shown to be two to four times higher than that of someone who has not had cancer

Through optimal healthcare navigation and early identification and management of late effects, we aim to demonstrate that we can lower healthcare utilisation (and consequently lower healthcare costs).
