1 in 2 people in the LGBTQIA+ community experience depression every year, 3 times more likely than the rest of the population.
People in the LGBTQIA+ community are 3 times more likely than the general population to experience a mental health issue, such as anxiety, depression, or self harm.
Kalda is a digital therapy platform providing relevant and affordable mental health support in the form of video therapy courses and daily wellbeing activities created by leading LGBTQIA+ therapists.
We have conducted 2 health evaluation trials: both showed a decrease in anxiety in depression. The first within 6 weeks of using Kalda, the second we measured again within 2 weeks and saw a significant decrease in anxiety and depression.
Kalda has reached over 1500 people through: our app, our mindfulness session, and our online courses which provider gender and sexuality affirming care.
