Biography: Jo has a dual role within Occupational Therapy (OT) as one of the Leads within community mental health and a joint lead role in OT practice development. Though both roles occasionally crossover in responsibilities, the latter role also means she supports further Allied health professionals (AHPs). Jo supervises all OTs within two boroughs and sits within their management Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT), while also being part of the wider OT leadership group. She provides supervision for all support staff and OTs within the two boroughs, including supporting their individual wellbeing and development as well as monitoring their work (including documentation) with clients.

South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: The project aims to explore and utilise digital strategies to improve data collection within the Allied Health Profession. This includes improving data collection around client outcomes, but also improving how staff groups capture staff data (feedback, roles, training etc). The main aims include demonstrating the breadth of positive client outcomes which are currently known anecdotally, demonstrating the worth of the Allied Health Profession within services, being able to track the impact of staff strategies (eg. preceptorship), supporting staff to work smarter and utilising digital supports.

Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Jo aims to gain support around design, implementation and other potential links that could help the project succeed, particularly since she hasn’t had any formal training in these areas.
