Biography: Glyne manages all IT innovation and developments for the Adult Social Care teams in the London Borough of Merton. He works with teams and service leads to enhance ways of working that support and improve resident outcomes. This is done via existing and new system developments or through the utilisation of third-party tools.

South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: To create a contact portal that meets the Care Act requirements for preventing, reducing, and delaying the need for social care services. This portal will be user-friendly and accessible to digitally-savvy individuals, allowing them to easily reach out to Social Care from anywhere at any time.

To design and implement a digital solution for residents and professionals to log contacts with adult social care. The system will be scalable and can easily adapt to future requirements such as the Care Cap, Liberty Protection Safeguards, and other legislative changes.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Patients: 220,000. Staff: 800.

Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Glyne aims to learn both the necessary skills and tools from peers and mentors that will help successfully implement a project of this scale.
