Biography: Edward is the Digital Transformation Manager for Sutton Primary Care Networks CIC and works with all 23 practices (four Primary Care Networks (PCN)) in Sutton providing digital solutions and support for patients, practices and PCN work. In his role, he manages six Digital Apprentices and a Project Manager to deploy multiple systems, support Extended Access services and collaborate with ICB/GPIT colleagues. Edward is currently 26 and has lived in Sutton his whole life, studying Neuroscience at the University of Exeter in 2016.

South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: Sutton PCNs are currently working on standardising the website platform in Sutton and providing centralised support, troubleshooting and management of content and contracts. This includes refining patient flow and pathways through the website as well as developing a social media platform. A centralised risk stratification and reporting tool is being developed within Sutton to process patients based on combined clinical and socio-economic factors. This will allow a layer of insight to be added for call and recall, improving telephone communications with patients.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Patients: Around 210,000 (the population of Sutton). Staff: 12 to 100.

Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Edward aims to understand, appreciate and incorporate structured Digital Transformation workflows in his work. He is also keen to listen to shared ideas and challenges from fellow peers.
