Leva Clinic is a digital health care provider on a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of people living with persistent pain. I am a fellow of the NHS clinical entrepreneurship program.
Horizon Fellowship project summary: Recently, digital scribe systems have been gaining popularity. They allow physicians to spend less time on note taking and more time with patients. From my personal experience in my private practice, it has cut my note taking time by around 75%. While promising in concept, how this system would apply to NHS use and its limitations are still not well understood. I propose to implement and test one of those system in the antenatal clinic and to do at the same time a feasibility study, a clinical risk quantification study, a cost saving study and a patient experience enhancement study.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: 150 staff, 7000 patients
Goal(s) for time on the Horizon Fellowship programme: I have always maintained an element of digital leadership in my personal development goals. I have already implemented multiple digital systems in private clinical setting and I would love to do it in the NHS.
