Devin Gray
GP and Clinical Lead for Digital First
Wandsworth
Biography: I am an NHS GP passionate about improving quality of care through designing and implementing great systems with patient experience at the centre. In addition to being a salaried GP and a GP Educator, I strive to support 38 GP practices in Wandsworth to make the most of digital systems and technology to maximise their capacity to deliver excellent, personalised care. I also enjoy working with the SWL ICB and Nationally to influence and support programmes of work that have the possibility of improving life in Primary Care.
South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: To support the 12 GP practices in Wandsworth most unable to access the support being offered in Primary Care Transformation due to limitations in capacity, workforce, IT hardware, estates as well as supporting some of the more disadvantaged communities in the borough; to improve patient access and experience of care and be more resilient to the challenges being faced in General Practice.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: 115,000 patients
Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship:I am looking forward in particular to the networking and relational elements of the programme to support my project, as well as some of the more practical aspects to working in change at scale including building convincing business cases, project management, understanding and implementing change management principles and ensuring meaningful evaluation for sustainability and sharing with others. I would hugely benefit from a mentor as I am working in a team which is largely remote and meaningful relationships can be difficult to build.
