Biography: Cynthia is a Project Manager who is currently leading Digital Transformation Projects at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Her role involves improving the way clinical teams plan care in the community and access, read, and update patient information in real-time. Prior to working at the NHS, Cynthia had a background in design and manufacturing, which has enabled her to bring Agile, Lean, and Creative Thinking expertise to her work. Cynthia has a keen interest in Digital Transformation and Improvement, Operations, Business Strategy, and Development. Additionally, she is also the Co-Chair of the Women’s Network – as part of the Trust’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiative – and a member of the Green Network.
South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: To implement Trust wide deployment of the Mobile Clinical Applications SystmOne Brigid and EMIS Mobile, improving reading and writing accessibility to live patient information/records for clinicians. A 6-month pilot project with 200 users will allow the testing of functionality, management, information management and technology support, user requirements, experience testing and assess implementation strategies prior to full Trust wide deployment in 2024.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Patients: 2 million. Staff: 4000.
Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Cynthia aims to learn the best practice for managing digital technological change at NHS settings, as well as network and build a community of practice with other NHS & ICS colleagues.
