NHS Problem
Healthcare and managing outpatients are becoming increasingly unsustainable, with increasing numbers of people living with multiple long-term conditions and co-morbidities, reduced clinical capacity, appointment access and time available with healthcare professionals and rising costs for medicines and operations. Outpatient services in particular suffer from inefficiency in the way they are delivered, with rising waiting times, high rates of no-shows, time-consuming admin burden, and poor clinician and patient experience all contributing to sub-optimally delivered care.
The Solution
Avegen was established in 2015 by Dr. Nayan Kalnad and Neeraj Apte, with the ambition to make quality healthcare sustainable. With 18 distinct clinical pathways already launched, we are at the forefront of transforming clinical workflows, enhancing patient access, and improving operational efficiency. Our platform, HealthMachine®, consists of a robust set of tested building blocks which allow us to digitise clinical pathways at speed and scale, without cutting corners. For NHS, we provide customisable outpatient management solutions which enable end-to-end digitisation of each step of a pathway resulting in streamlined clinical workflows, reduced costs and improved operational efficiency.
