Infinity Health offers free tools to NHS Trusts

DigitalHealth.London Accelerator alumnus Infinity Health is offering its care coordination and task management tools for free to NHS trusts for six months, to help alleviate some of the pressures faced by staff in the wake of COVID-19.

Infinity Health

Infinity is a platform which allows health and care staff to log, share, and coordinate their daily tasks on a digital platform in real-time, providing a safety and efficiency upgrade to paper and whiteboard processes currently used across the NHS. Frontline staff have access to a constant flow of critical patient updates wherever they are, saving valuable clinical time that might otherwise be spent chasing results or making handwritten notes. Infinity Health took part in the 2017/18 Accelerator programme and you can learn more about Infinity Health from their CEO Elliot Engers in an interview with Accelerator Programme Director Sara Nelson and Elemental TV.

During the COVID-19 crisis, many investigations and elective surgeries have been cancelled to make way for the predicted tide of Coronavirus patients. Now, as the curve flattens, NHS organisations are planning to resume services and tackle the growing backlog, reported to be 7M+ patients. Infinity Health is helping support NHS staff during this time by offering their tools for free for six months, to help boost efficiency, provide real-time patient information, connect teams remotely and inform staff allocation and resource management. The offer covers the costs of set-up, integration, training, and six months of license fees for each trust.

Elliott Engers, CEO at Infinity Health said, “Effective care coordination and task management are vital to providing safe and effective care at this difficult time, and providing NHS staff with digital tools to do this something Infinity can immediately and meaningfully contribute to.

“The influx of patients with life-threatening COVID-19 complications has put the NHS under even more pressure – both directly as staff care for Coronavirus patients, and indirectly as services have been paused with the effect of lengthening waiting lists. We will do all we can to help alleviate this added pressure, and are confident we can make a difference quickly.

“Today thanks to much of the support and contacts we developed on the DigitalHeath.London Accelerator programme, we are continuing to grow and support the NHS. Beyond COVID-19, the NHS can’t go back to how things were. Regardless of crisis status, digital innovation is essential for our health service to thrive, not just survive; digital tools like Infinity ensure NHS staff have access to the technologies they desperately need, so their time is used in the most effective way possible, and the system in which they work is organised efficiently.”

Infinity is already in use in London North West University NHS Foundation Trust in two projects and the company has also recently agreed a new contract with a Global Digital Exemplar trust.
