Infinity Health signs new contract with London Trust

DigitalHealth.London Accelerator alumnus Infinity Health has signed a new contract with London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH).
Infinity Health took part in the 2017/18 DigitalHealth.London Accelerator cohort and is a UK-based digital health company, supplying digital tools to improve healthcare efficiency and patient safety.
In this new project with LNWH, Infinity Health tools will be used to revolutionise care coordination and task management for patients across the Trust’s rapid response and early supported discharge service, based at Northwick Park Hospital. The project will give LNWH’s short-term assessment, rehabilitation and reablement service (STARRS) the ability to easily prioritise and track tasks and collaborate across functions. It will involve replacing previous systems and printed paper lists with a digital task management platform and mobile solution in order to improve communications within the service.
Edgar Swart, STARRS Head Nurse, said: “STARRS’ work is vital to help patients receive support safely and happily in their own homes, and our staff need tools that are fit for purpose. Infinity Health’s digital task management system makes it easier for my team to prioritise, plan, and carry out our daily care work. Ultimately, we want and need to spend time with our patients to provide caring, effective, and safe services, and this partnership will ensure the time is released and our patients continue to get the care they deserve.”
Elliott Engers, CEO, Infinity Health, said: “It is fantastic to be working with LNWH again, building on our successful work improving patient flow in the Emergency Department. It’s encouraging to see more NHS trusts embrace digital technologies and LNWH is one of those leading the way.
We’re continuing to realise lessons and networks we gained while on the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme. As alumni we continue to work closely with them and will always be grateful for their support and expertise.”
Sara Nelson, Programme Director for the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme said: “We are delighted to continue to see Infinity Health grow and develop their business. They are true ambassadors of our Accelerator programme and we are always pleased to share the successes of our companies.”
In a recent interview with Elemental TV, CEO Elliott Engers recognised the key role that the accelerator played in building vital connections.
