DigitalHealth.London Launchpad opens for applications

Digital products and services continue to provide vital support to patients and NHS staff as they face the challenges generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and as detailed in the NHS Long Term Plan. Today, DigitalHealth.London has opened applications to their Launchpad programme for the next generation of digital health companies developing innovations to transform health and care.

Jenny Thomas, Programme Director, DigitalHealth.London, said: “I’m delighted to announce the opening of applications to be part of the next cohort of companies on the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme. The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the biggest challenges the NHS has faced but has also highlighted the importance of digital innovation and the pivotal role it will play in the recovery and the future of the NHS. I’d urge any digital health company who is developing a product or service that could support the NHS to consider applying for this programme.”

Steve Rimmer, Founder, Tickets for Good, Launchpad Cohort three, said: “The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad has been instrumental in helping us navigate the different layers of the NHS and providing us with invaluable support through the development of the Tickets for Good platform. We are truly grateful for our Launchpad experience and would like to wish all companies applying good luck in gaining a place on what is a hugely beneficial programme.”

Emily Curtis, Co-Founder, The Exercise Clinic, Launchpad Cohort two, said: “We were delighted to join cohort two of DigitalHealth.London’s Launchpad, a brilliant programme supporting early-stage digital technology innovators. The programme has helped us understand the steps we need to take to work with NHS organisations and provided us with opportunities to connect with industry experts as well as other innovators. I’d encourage any health tech innovators that are close to launching a product or service, to apply to this programme.”

DigitalHealth.London’s Launchpad aims to support digital health companies who are at an early stage of developing a product or service that has high potential to meet the current challenges facing the NHS and social care today, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and as detailed in the NHS Long Term Plan. The programme is for companies that are nearing launch into the health and social care market.

The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad will support companies by providing access to knowledge sharing events that will help them understand demand and bring the product or process to market. The programme will provide up to 12 hours of support to participants over a three-month period and support will consist of workshops, bespoke 1:1 guidance from DigitalHealth.London consultants and advice from key founding and strategic partners to bring rich and diverse expertise across healthcare innovation.
