Applications open for Cohort Six of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad

Today, DigitalHealth.London has opened applications to their Launchpad programme for the next generation of digital health companies developing innovations to transform health and care. The programme supports London-based, early-stage companies to launch exciting new products or services to support NHS staff and patients.

DigitalHealth.London’s Launchpad aims to support digital health companies that are at an early stage of developing a product or service that has high potential to meet the current challenges facing the NHS and social care today. The programme is for London-based companies that are nearing launch into the health and social care market.

The DigitalHealth.London Launchpad will support companies by providing access to knowledge sharing events that will help them understand demand in order to bring the product or process to market. The programme will provide up to 12 weeks of support consisting of workshops, bespoke 1:1 guidance from DigitalHealth.London consultants and advice from key founding and strategic partners to bring rich and diverse expertise across healthcare innovation.

I am so pleased to share that applications for the sixth cohort of the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme are now open. Aligned with the NHS’s Long Term Plan for digital transformation, we have supported a total of 40 early-stage companies in successfully launching their innovations under this initiative. Our alumni have made a significant impact on the health and care industry, catering to demand and achieving improved patient outcomes. I encourage all digital health companies working on solutions to address the current challenges in the NHS to make the most of this opportunity and apply for the programme.

As the digital pioneers and innovators of today will likely shape the future of the health sector, the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is also keen to engage with founders from diverse backgrounds in the industry. In line with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund guidelines, the definition of diverse backgrounds includes individuals who identify as being from Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic communities, the global majority, female, and/or disabled.

Our experience with the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad was transformative for us. We work in LGBTQIA+ mental health, and through the programme, we were introduced to key LGBTQIA+ leaders within the NHS. This has not only provided us with an understanding of the NHS’s operations, triage, and mental health provision across the country, but has also strengthened our credibility and capability to offer targeted LGBTQIA+ mental health support. I know that so much of our progress in this direction has been a direct result of the opportunities afforded to us by the Launchpad. We also had the opportunity to learn from fellow healthtech founders who share our passion for improving health outcomes.

The Digital Health Launchpad provides fantastic support. The mentorship and one-to-one guidance from navigators helped us to tap into expert advice. We also received valuable teaching and webinars from renowned leaders in the field, which enabled MediTask to progress to the next level. Thanks to this programme, we had all the necessary support to launch successfully.
