5 must-see sessions across London’s health summits this November

This November, Future of Health Europe, AI in Health Summit, and Cardiovascular Health Summit will be co-located in London on Tuesday 03 November and Wednesday 04 November 2026.

Across the three co-located Economist Enterprise summits, the agenda explores a central challenge for health innovation: how to move promising ideas beyond pilots and into everyday care. The summits are bringing together people from across health, policy, industry, and innovation to share ideas and explore some of the biggest challenges facing health and care.

With plenty on the agenda, we’ve picked five sessions we think will be particularly relevant for health innovators.

Panel. Making digital health work: what does it take to scale successfully?
Future of Health Europe | 03 November – 2:30pm
This session explores what it takes for promising solutions to become part of everyday care, from demonstrating value to navigating reimbursement, workflows, and trust. For innovators looking to scale, it offers a useful perspective on what health systems actually need from digital solutions.

Panel. How could prevention deliver big gains in cardiovascular health?
Cardiovascular Health Summit | 04 November – 9:50am
Preventing cardiovascular disease at scale will require more than ambitious screening targets. This session explores the wider mix of early detection, regulation, incentives and infrastructure needed to turn prevention into practice. For innovators, it is a chance to consider where new approaches could help health systems intervene earlier and more effectively.

Case studies. Scaling AI implementation: successes and failures
AI in Health Summit | 04 November – 12:55pm
Drawing on three real-world case studies, this session explores the factors that can determine whether AI succeeds or stalls, from pathway design and workflow integration to credible clinical testing. It offers innovators a useful look at what healthcare organisations are learning as they try to put AI into practice.

Panel. Where investment makes the biggest difference
Future of Health Europe | 03 November – 5:15pm
This panel weighs investment in innovation itself against the less visible foundations needed to make it work, from workforce and infrastructure to reimbursement and delivery models. It offers innovators a useful look at the system conditions that can enable, or constrain, adoption.

Panel. Can healthcare systems buy AI effectively?
AI in Health Summit | 04 November – 12:25pm
Buying AI effectively remains a challenge for health systems, particularly when the return on investment can be difficult to predict. This session examines how health systems can better assess, fund, and procure AI, and what successful procurement looks like in practice. For innovators, it offers useful insight into what can strengthen the case for adoption.
