Biography: Omid Gilanshah is a currently holds a leadership role across Kingston and Richmond places in South West London ICB. An experienced Programme, with over 15 years’ experience in the NHS across various organisations and roles. Omid is currently responsible for leading primary and community care initiatives in Kingston and Richmond, overseeing the transformation of Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health Services and SRO for the successful Proactive Anticipatory Care programme. Additionally, Omid has recently taken on a leadership role heading up the Digital Enabler Programme in Kingston and Richmond, which is focused on improving service delivery through digital solutions and integration with local Partners.
South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: The aim of the digital enabler programme is to connect people and digital systems across Kingston and Richmond to achieve a “digital backbone” that improves health and care services for the local population. The objectives are to: develop a digital solution focused on Integrated neighborhoods, support the development of a risk stratification tool that promotes both Prevention and Health improvement agendas, Promote an environment where digital opportunities play a key role in enhancing greater connectivity for staff and local communities.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Between 20-500 depending on stage – could lead to population level impact once delivered
Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship:
- To strengthen and update my transformation skills in a new area,
- To provide me with new skills to support me implement effective solutions,
- To put me in a strong position for the future and roles in digital transformation and leadership.
