Biography: A registered midwife who has worked within sexual health since 2019, with special interests in safeguarding and improving equity and access to care.

CW Innovation Fellowship project summary: To embed trauma-informed care in sexual healthcare, focusing on coil procedures to prevent re-traumatisation in survivors/victims of abuse.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Difficult to predict, currently 60+ coil insertion appointments per week at the John Hunter Clinic.

Goal(s) for time on the Horizon Fellowship programme: To gain the skills and support to make an idea an impactful and sustainable reality.
