South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: The project that I am currently leading from the training perspective is the Maternity MPage project which supports documentation through every stage of the maternity. The aim of this project is to provide integrated electronic health record for both mother and baby, which also helps improve patient’s safety. The aim is to also offer a simplified user experience for entering and tracking information as well as for standardised reporting and documentaion.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: St Georges Hospital deals with 5000 birth every year and around 340 staff working in the maternity department.
Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: My goal is to gain skills and learn as much as I can from this programme so that I can apply that knowledge in practice, which I am hoping to help me improve in delivering digital transformation projects within our organisation and make real changes.
