Digital champion Health Care Assistant

Biography: I am involved in the digital skills project. This project is aimed at up skilling staff in the organisation in relation to their digital skills. Digital skills have been identified as one of the reasons for the low up take of digital solutions being deployed across the organisation. My role as the digital champion is to promote the digital culture of the organisation, enabling staff to be curious and proactive in the use of digital solutions. This is done through teaching, coaching and being first line of contact for digital queries in my location.
South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship project summary: It’s a priority led by the Executive Director to promote agile working using RIO interface to ease the workload.
Scale of the project ; The project is Trust wide and involves all staff across the organisation – bands 2-8a. This is a total of 3500 members of staff (including staff with dyslexia and deaf staff).
Desired impact; Up skilling staff in their digital skills, to be proactive and curious about digital solutions,using digital to work in an agile manner,using digital in a quick, efficient and safe manner maintaining their work-life balance
Progression of the project; Digital Skills Webinars I have recently participated in digital skills webinar series, covering a range of topics such as computer tips and tools, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Power points Digital resource pages.
Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Involves all staff across the organisation – bands 2-8a. This is a total of 3500 members of staff (including staff with dyslexia and deaf staff)
Goal(s) for time on the South West London ICL Digital Pioneer Fellowship: It a great opportunity to discover my strength , potential by acquiring new soft skills, knowledge especially in areas of providing quality care , finding solutions to the problems through collaboration skills Gaining Data analyse skills adoption of artificial intelligence solution discovering key insights of data storage, management, and access to speed time of workloads and application of the digital systems The fellowship provides a safe space for me and others l will share these skills with to try new creative ideas, strategies, solutions to health care and other work force difficulties. Equipping and empowering the full potential of digital health and technical skills in delivering high quality care within the community promoting digital innovation. The Fellowship is a great opportunity to network with other senior leaders, technology experts in the field to learn more about healthcare innovation and also partner with innovators to embrace digital health.
