    Healthcare leaders from across the healthcare system, including Johnson & Johnson, University Medicine Frankfurt and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, come together to share approaches and measures being taken to address key challenges in healthcare.     Natasha Loder, Health editor at The Economist, moderates a panel set to explore the role of digital technology in improving the way healthcare services are delivered.   3. Assessing the value of care: navigating touch choices

    How are new products assessed? What evaluation frameworks are used for new digital technologies? Ondřej Dostál, Member of the European Parliament, joins representatives from Alliance for Regenerative Medicine; EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe; and GBS/CIDP Foundation of Canada.
  4. A spoonful of prevention: shifting from a reactive approach
    9:10am, 1 October
    The 10 year Plan for Health outlined three key shifts, including from sickness to prevention. In this panel, healthcare leaders from Centre for Innovation in Medicine, Romania; The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust & Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust; Vitality Health; and European Society of Cardiology share what concrete steps can be taken to support this pivot.
  5. Addressing health disparities to reach marginalised communities
    3.25pm, 1 October

    In this global panel, representatives from European Parliament; Alice L. Walton School of Medicine; The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust; Amethyst Healthcare and Daniel Newman, a patient engagement consultant, explore what strategies can ensure equitable healthcare access.
