Accelerator Alumnus OurPath rebrands and raises $10M

Accelerator Alumnus OurPath has rebranded to Second Nature and has also raised $10 million in Series A funding.

Second Nature (previously OurPath) is a digital behavioural change programme aimed at preventing onset of type 2 diabetes and other chronic conditions through education, healthcare tracking and health coaching. The company was part of the 2016/17 DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme.

The company had been OurPath since it’s launch 5 years ago but the founders Chris Edson and Mike Gibbs decided that they wanted their new brand to embody the idea that creating lasting change to health means changing habits. They decided to change the company’s name to Second Nature.

Following this rebrand, the company has raised $10 million in Series A funding, taking the total investment to $13 million.

Their new name, Second Nature, speaks to the habit changes that people with Diabetes and other chronic conditions need to make for their health – this name shows they understand the people and patients they are helping with this programme.”
