About the speakers:

Shera Chok is a GP in East London, clinical advisor on NHS reconfiguration to the government and an experienced Medical Director and CCIO, as well as being a co-founder of the Shuri Network. The Shuri Network is the first NHS network of BME women in digital health. The small team has had a big impact on celebrating difference and diversity in digital health, challenging the NHS to take action and supporting BME women to succeed in their careers.

Rajal Patni is Co-founder and CFO of DigitalHealth.London Accelerator alumnus Lavanya Plus. Rajal, alongside Chairman Rohit Patni and CEO Vivek Patni founded Lavanya three years ago with the aim of improving social care outcomes using digital technology. Rajal has personal experience of navigating different local authorities and NHS care systems in order to look after loved ones. The co-founders recognised the key areas in the care pathway that needed the most attention and where improvements would support service users the most. As a result, Lavanya Plus and the WeMa (Wellness Management) product was born.

Saira Arif is currently Implementation Manager for ORCHA, having previously been the Digital Citizen & Innovation Programme Manager for North West London Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups when she joined the NHS Digital Pioneer Fellowship programme. Saira won the 2020 Digital Pioneer Fellowship Spirit Award and was a finalist for the Empower Award. 

Sara Nelson, Programme Director of DigitalHealth.London’s Accelerator programme will also be joining the discussion to provide some information on the applying to the Accelerator and answering any questions.
