Christina Sothinathan

Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Bio: Christina works as a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist in the musculoskeletal (MSK) triage service at King’s College Hospital. Her interests are quality improvement, digital solutions, mind-body and patient pathways to improve integrated care.

Project summary: To improve access to high quality digital healthcare for all patients. Although they have implemented virtual appointments during COVID-19, not all patients have the same access to digital solutions to improve self-management of their long-term conditions. This leads to healthcare inequality, reduced integrated care as well as increased clinician burden.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: Minimum 700,000 but will look to expand this with partnerships.

Goal(s) for the programme: To be able to implement change which will increase access of digital solutions for all patients.
