Bio: Angela is the South East London Digital Programme lead for national Local Care and Health Record Exemplar (LCHRE) programme and regional One London programme. As a parent, a professional and a patient, Angela developed passion for digital health and the opportunities to improve access to care it can bring. Over the last 8 years Angela has worked on public and private digital transformation programmes, starting as a software developer and upskilling to become now the senior programme manager.

Project summary: The London Care record has the potential to totally transform the health and care professional ways of working, helping to provide better, more joined up care for Londoners receiving care anywhere in London. This programme started in 2019 and is anticipated to continue until April 2022, although Angela is now also currently planning for further delivery in 22/23. The Personal Health record programme has the potential to totally transform the way South East London residents digitally interact with their personal health record and could dramatically contribute to improving their health and wellbeing.

Estimated number of patients / staff impacted by the project: The South East London Integrated Care System population is around 1.9 million. South East London care providers in scope include 223 GP practices, three  large acute trusts, two mental health trusts, out of hours and urgent care providers, community services and six social care providers.

Goal(s) for the programme: To successfully implement the South East London Care Record and the Personal Health Record in South East London for all patients.

To work through the challenges of delivering complex digital programmes across NHS and care organisations, through collaborative working.

To work with a mentor to fully realise her full potential in the domain of health and care collaborative digital.
