Project: Digital Platform sharing health data for people with cystic fibrosis and healthcare teams
Organisation: Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust
This project will co-design and build a digital platform which will enable the sharing of health data between people with cystic fibrosis and their healthcare team. This project has been driven by the patients’ feedback that the CF service impacts significantly on their life as it requires frequent hospital attendances for health monitoring. The future scope would involve liaising with commissioners about funding this technology from the CF tariff, sustainability of the tech and evolving the service redesign and some consideration of the impact and use on CF care across the UK.
