Faye is a Podiatrist by background with several years of clinical experience, during which time she developed a keen interest in service improvement methodologies, redesign and project management. Whilst seconded to a Department of Health project she supported series of service transformations within various allied health professions across London. She went on to work in service improvement roles for the Royal Marsden Hospital and south west London Cancer Network. Over the past 4 years she has worked as a senior project manager for the Health Innovation Network (south London’s Academic Health Science Network – AHSN), overseeing large scale projects in Diabetes and Atrial Fibrillation. She is currently the Programme Manager for the AHSN network, nurturing the spread and adoption of best practice and digital innovations in Atrial Fibrillation across all 15 AHSNs.
“Digital transformation offers an opportunity, first, to address the competing demands faced by NHS staff on a daily basis by supporting the delivery of safe, cost-effective services through the secure and efficient sharing of information; and second, by meeting patients’ expectations, which are evolving as a result of the impact of digital services on other areas of consumer life.”
