The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator works with 20-30 high potential small digital health businesses each year and supports them to develop and deploy solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the NHS. It provides a bespoke programme of support over a one-year period, which includes learning events, one-to-one advice, and introductions to key NHS decision-makers. The goal is to ensure NHS patients and staff can benefit from new digital technologies more quickly.
We are looking for a Communications Manager to design, lead, and oversee communications strategy and delivery for this world-leading accelerator. The person will have overall responsibility for ensuring that all communications activities align with the accelerator’s business objectives, and this will include the communications strategy design, activity planning, stakeholder management, and delivery. The person will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team and will have some support on discrete projects from communications specialists in founding partner organisations.
This is an extremely varied role and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a step up in their communications career. It would suit a flexible, diligent, and self-starting all-rounder with an interest in digital health innovation and the NHS.
The ideal candidate will have strong and proven skills in communications.They will combine skills and knowledge of brand, communications strategy, digital marketing, content creation, media and PR, and events, to deliver multi-channel communications, which build the profile and credibility of the programme amongst key stakeholders.
The person should have excellent project management skills and be confident engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. They’ll be a keen collaborator, adept at building credibility with a range of stakeholders – from clinicians to entrepreneurs – earning their trust and confidence.
