Digital Pioneer Fellowship project: FHIR based Discharge Summaries

Rollout of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) based Discharge Summaries. Transfer of FHIR Discharge summaries between key stakeholders within North Central London (NCL). Workflow improvement and change management to support national technical standards.

Frederick is a Head of Digital Technology in NHS England – London region, a role created by NHS England as part of the stimulus to deliver on digital transformation initiatives that can support the Five Year Forward View. Frederick started his career in the NHS working as an IT Manager at a large teaching hospital in London and has subsequently worked in a number of NHS roles. He has also worked as a consultant and senior manager for firms including Anderson Consulting, BP, GE Healthcare and the BBC.
