Accelerator Brokered Partnership Featured in the Sunday Times

At the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme launch last year, Sweatcoin, one of the 20 SMEs on the current 2019-2020 cohort, were introduced to Health Innovation Network’s Innovation Grant winner Diabetes Prevention Decathlon. The two teams went on to collaborate together, bringing a new digital aspect to the innovative ten-week prevention programme being led by the South West London Health and Care Partnership.

Sara Nelson, DigitalHealth.London Accelerator Programme Director, said:

“This collaboration between South West London Health and Care Partnership and Sweatcoin is a fantastic example of the possibilities there are for the NHS to work with digital innovators.

“Our accelerator programme works as an honest broker between industry and the NHS to speed up implementation of the best in digital health and care in London. We’re really delighted to have made this introduction and hope Sweatcoin can replicate this success across the country to support patients to live a healthier life.”
