Did you know that while 84% of adults use the internet, just 2% report any digitally enabled transaction with the NHS? Digital has such a lot to offer the NHS, whether that be for patients, staff or for all of us as tax payers. Digital technology continues to play a pivotal role in allowing patients and practitioners to better track, manage and improve healthcare outcomes and provide services.
Are you passionate about improving healthcare through digital means? Do you have a strong network across the NHS? Do you know the key decision makers in your organisation and how to get things done? If this sounds like you, please read on.
We are recruiting a navigator for our Accelerator programme. Navigators act as relationship managers between SMEs and London trusts.
We look for navigators from different professional backgrounds within the NHS and at various stages in their career. You might be a consultant, a GP or a junior doctor, a matron, a manager or a commissioner. If you are a ST4-6, CT3, SAS, GPST3/4, band 8A or equivalent you will most likely be looking for a full time secondment to broaden your experience in this exciting field.
If you are in a more senior role, you will be looking for a part time secondment to make good things in healthcare happen faster through digital, alongside your day job. Successful navigators will be particularly familiar with health organisations in Lambeth and Southwark and the member organisations of the Health Innovation Network and UCLPartners.
For further details or to arrange an informal visit, please contact: Jenny Thomas email@example.com

About the Accelerator
DigitalHealth.London’s Accelerator aims to speed up the adoption of technology in London’s NHS, relieving high pressure on services and empowering patients to manage their health.
It works with 20-30 high potential start-ups and SMEs each year, at any stage of the innovation cycle, and supports them to develop and deploy solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the NHS.
The programme is uniquely positioned to provide in-depth knowledge of the NHS and wider UK health and care sector to high potential companies in London to help them refine, develop and scale their innovations. It focuses on engagement with clinicians and healthcare experts, working collaboratively to get to the root of health and care challenges and find solutions.
The Accelerator is a partnership between London’s three AHSNs (Health Innovation Network, Imperial College Health Partners, UCLPartners), MedCity, CW+, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity. It is supported by the Mayor of London.
The Accelerator is receiving £1.7 million of funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Department for Communities and Local Government is the managing authority for ERDF. Established by the European Union, ERDF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.
