Digital Pioneer: Alexander Leff, Professor of Cognitive Neurology, University College London14th September, 2017
Alexander is recognised as a Digital Pioneer for his collaborative research at the Institute of Neurology, University College London, which has led to the development of two online therapies used by stroke patients with visual deficits. Read-Right treats patients with hemianopic alexia (the most common acquired reading disorder); and Eye-Search treats those with spatial disorientation and visual search impairment. DigitalHealth.London Accelerator startup demonstrates success in BBC documentary13th September, 2017
Changing Health is transforming diabetes education for people with, or at risk of Type 2 diabetes. In September they were announced as one of the companies participating in the second cohort of DigitalHealth.London's Accelerator programme, strengthening its momentum to adoption across London and beyond. The company's unique combination of evidence based digital education and behaviour change coaching has resulted in its services being used by the BBC1 documentary, How To Stay Young, first aired on 13 September.
