Tom has been a sleep and respiratory physiologist in the NHS for over 8 years; first as a researcher while completing a PhD in sleep and respiratory physiology, then as a paediatric respiratory physiologist working in front-line clinical services. Over the last two years, as an NHS Graduate Management Trainee in Health Informatics, he has worked in information governance, data quality and performance and was seconded to the Accelerator for 2 months as an NHS Navigator.
Tom is interested in the intersection between research, technology and clinical care, and how innovative use of information can be used to improve or transform current services. In his spare time he acts as clown-in-residence for his two son’s, and practices judo. Often these interests overlap.
